Hurricane Lapel Pin

Made from parts of a genuine Battle of Britain Hurricane this beautifully detailed lapel pin really is a little piece of history.

An incredible feet of bravery:
On 15th September 1940, Battle of Britain Day, RAF Pilot Sgt Ray Holmes intercepted a raid on Central London. With Ammunition exhausted, Sgt Holmes noticed one solitary German bomber heading in the direction of Buckingham Palace and decided the only way to stop it was to ram it.

Using genuine fragments recovered from the wreckage of P2725 T-MB. The polished bronze Hurricane lapel pins are 20mm in length and three dimensional. They are cast using the lost wax process. Each pin has “P2725 TM-B” physically cast into its underside to prove the provenance and comes within a very high quality wood and leather presentation case complete with certificate of authenticity.

Pins may possess very minor surface variations, inherent due to their hand casting method of creation.

Made in the UK.

Lapel pin will be posted using recorded delivery.
