When Motoring Gifts heard that Christoph Courth and Oliver Westgarth had formed team Optimistic Fools and announced they were going to attempt the Mongol Rally in a Renault 4L called Irene we just had to help!

Motoring Gifts are delighted to donate the profits from every Whizz Kid T-Shirt and matching Colouring Card to the charities supported by the Optimistic Fools.

Setting forth on their adventure they will meet on the 18th of July 2008 with around 200 teams of ramshackle cars and bikes in Hyde Park ready to take the 10,000 mile journey across both Europe and Asia to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The Rally, generally takes the between 3 to 6 weeks to complete and has no set route. It was founded not only for the sake of modern day adventure but to raise money and awareness for worthwhile charities both Mongolian and closer to home.
